Demo Checklist
DEMO SHEET: Draw a chart on the whiteboard with the header: "What's important to you in the context of ___?" (career, relationship, health, etc.). Ask the question 3 times — each round the client goes deeper. Look for REPEATING WORDS across rounds — those are the real values. Write them down as they emerge. TEACH ALL 3 METHODS: 1) Classical NLP elicitation (the chart — this is the one to demo and practice), 2) Motivation method (what motivates you?), 3) Threshold method (what would have to happen for you to leave?). Only the classical method goes on the chart for the exercise. Motivation and threshold are taught as concepts so students know they exist, but the hands-on practice uses the classical question.
