Hypnosis
From first induction to master hypnotist — Gina's complete program
A dedicated hypnosis training track modeled after Gina's Practitioner and Master Practitioner hypnosis curriculum. Progresses from understanding what hypnosis is through mastering multiple induction types, deepening techniques, and therapeutic applications.
To Do — Resources Needed
- ☐Write full 4-MAT scripts for all hypnosis topics
- ☐Add schedule — is this standalone or embedded in NLP Prac/Master Prac?
- ☐Determine if this is offered as a separate certification or always bundled with NLP
- ☐Add nested learning loop annotations
- ☐Source Gina's Course 8 Bonus Content #1 (10 hypnosis videos) — integrate into topics
- ☐Add practice session logistics — how many inductions per student? Partner rotation?
- ☐Define safety protocols for hypnosis practice in training context
Curriculum — Teaching Sequence
History of hypnosis (Mesmerism through modern), myths vs reality, pre-talk script — setting expectations for clients
6 depth levels: light (lethargy, relaxation, eye catalepsy — 20%), medium (arm catalepsy, heavy/floating — 60%), deep (hallucinations, somnambulism — 20%)
One core induction taught and practiced — progressive relaxation with embedded Milton Model language patterns
Applying artfully vague language, embedded commands, presuppositions, and analog marking specifically in hypnotic contexts
Prerequisite: Milton Model (NLP Prac Level 1)
Patterns of indirect suggestion, utilization, Ericksonian inductions, naturalistic trance
Prerequisite: Your First Induction
Dave Elman's rapid induction method — achieving deep trance quickly through eye catalepsy, arm catalepsy, and number block
Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Ericksonian Hypnosis
Testing depth progressively: eye catalepsy test, arm catalepsy test, number block, moving through stages with convincers
Methods for taking a client from light trance to deeper states — fractionation, staircase, elevator, counting methods
Nested loop structure — opening multiple stories, embedding suggestions, and closing loops in reverse order for deep unconscious installation
Prerequisite: Milton Model for Hypnosis
Installing suggestions that activate after trance — timing, language structure, future pacing, testing effectiveness
How to verify hypnotic depth — arm levitation, catalepsy tests, analgesia tests, amnesia suggestions. Building client confidence in the process.
